The website www.petitiiPE.ro is a project by Victor Boştinaru – Member of the PETI Comission in the European Parliament. The website was initially launched in February 2008 and reached almost 100.000 visitors until now.

Petitions to the European Parliament – version 2.0
The need to keep the subject of petition to the European Parliament updated, presenting the information regarding the procedure in a manner that best describes the process are the reasons for this project

European citizen’s initiative
The new site also features an English version and it is the only website by a Member of the European Parliament which refers to the activity of the PETI Commission and the process of petitioning. The website also presents the procedure for European citizen’s initiative, in which a number of at least 1 million European citizens, from a significant number of member states, can ask the European Commission to propose laws.

A website connected to its users
